ProPlugin.ee Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy has been prepared by Disaier OÜ (hereinafter ProPlugin.ee or the Operator) and describes how ProPlugin.ee collects, uses, discloses, and stores users’ personal data (hereinafter the User).

ProPlugin.ee processes personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union and the legislation of the Republic of Estonia.

Providing personal data to ProPlugin.ee is not mandatory; however, it may be necessary for the use of certain services (such as creating a profile, activating specialist subscription packages, and managing client inquiries).

1. CATEGORIES AND TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

ProPlugin.ee collects personal data from the following sources:

1.1 Data Provided Upon Account Creation

– first and last name;
– email address;
– phone number (if provided by the User);
– password;
– company name and registry code (for Specialists).

1.2 Data Provided by the Specialist When Creating a Profile

– service provider name;
– service descriptions;
– work portfolio, images, and files;
– contact details (phone number, email address);
– published pricing information (if provided).

1.3 Data Collected During Use of the Platform

– User activity logs (including inquiries, profile changes, and use of services);
– communication between the User and the Specialist (including inquiries and responses).

1.4 Data Collected During Payments

– payment-related data transmitted via the Stripe payment system;
– billing details (name, email address, company information).
Note: ProPlugin.ee does not store credit card data.

1.5 Data Collected When Subscribing to the Newsletter

– email address;
– user preferences (optional).

1.6 Technical Data Collected via Cookies and Analytics

– IP address;
– browser type;
– device information;
– time of visit;
– pages visited;
– referrer URL.

1.7 Data Collected via Third-Party Platforms

ProPlugin.ee uses the following third-party tools:
– Google Analytics;
– Facebook Pixel.

2. PROCESSING AND RETENTION OF COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA

2.1 Purposes of Processing Personal Data

ProPlugin.ee processes personal data for the following purposes:

– provision of services (account creation, profiles, inquiries);
– activation and management of subscription plans;
– customer support and communication with Users;
– processing payments and financial accounting;
– development of the Platform and analysis of usage statistics;
– ensuring security and preventing fraud;
– facilitating communication between Users;
– service development (statistics, trend analysis, behavioral patterns).

2.2 Legal Bases for Processing

Processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds:

  • – performance of a contract (account creation and use of the services);

  • – consent (newsletters, cookies);

  • – legitimate interest (ensuring operation of the Platform, statistics, and service improvement);

  • – compliance with legal obligations (retention of accounting records).

2.3 Data Retention

ProPlugin.ee retains Users’ personal data:

  • – for as long as necessary to provide the services;

  • – activity and log data for up to 2 years;

  • – billing and payment data for up to 7 years in accordance with accounting legislation;

  • – upon account deletion, published content is removed, except for information required to be retained byl aw.

2.4 Legitimate Interest for Service Development

ProPlugin.ee uses data entered into the Platform in an anonymized form to improve and develop the services, including:

– categories;
– pricing information;
– activity logs;
– statistics related to specialists’ services.

Such processing does not allow the User to be identified, unless identification is necessary for the operation of the service or the User has given separate consent.

3. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

3.1 ProPlugin.ee implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Users’ personal data.
3.2 Access to personal data is granted only to authorized employees.
3.3 ProPlugin.ee ensures secure transmission of data, including via encrypted communication channels (HTTPS).
3.4 All authorized third-party processors (such as hosting providers and Stripe) comply with the requirements of the GDPR.

4. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

ProPlugin.ee may disclose the User’s personal data to the following parties:

4.1 Disclosure Required by Law

– supervisory authorities;
– investigative authorities;
– courts.

4.2 Partners Necessary for Service Provision

– hosting and server service providers;
– email and notification service providers;
– payment systems (Stripe);
– cookie and analytics services (Google, Meta).

4.3 Fulfilment of Financial Obligations

If the User has failed to pay for a paid service, ProPlugin.ee may disclose relevant data to:

– debt collection agencies;
– credit reference or payment default registers;
– authorized debt recovery or advisory service providers.

4.4 Processing of Payments

For the purpose of processing payments, the necessary data is transmitted to the authorized processor Stripe Payments Europe. ProPlugin.ee does not store or process credit card data.

4.5 Disclosure to Legal Advisors and Auditors

Personal data may be disclosed to legal advisors or auditors for the purpose of complying with legal obligations or resolving disputes.

5. AMENDMENT OF PERSONAL DATA AND TERMINATION OF PROCESSING

5.1 User Rights

The User has the right to:

  • – obtain information about personal data collected about them;

  • – amend or update their personal data;

  • – request the deletion of personal data (“right to be forgotten”);

  • – restrict the processing of personal data;

  • – request the transfer of personal data (data portability);

  • – withdraw consent at any time (e.g. for newsletters or cookies);

  • – lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.

5.2 Termination of Processing

ProPlugin.ee shall terminate the processing of the User’s personal data and delete such data if:

– the User submits a relevant request;
– the account is closed;
– the processing of the data is no longer necessary;
– retention of the data is not required by law.

5.3 How to Submit a Request

For security reasons, the identity of the requester must be verifiable.
We recommend using a digital signature.

5.4 Withdrawal of Consent

Withdrawal of consent shall not have retroactive effect and shall:

– not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal;
– not preclude the retention of data where required by law (e.g. billing or accounting information).
